Reusable and Recyclable Monomaterial Roll-On

Reusable and Recyclable Monomaterial Roll-On

As part of our strategic priority to help customers transition to a circular economy, we have added this interesting packaging solution to our range. This solution is reusable and – thanks to its monomaterial PP composition – fully recyclable through the regular household plastics recycling streams.

The rechargeable roll-on can be used for deodorants, lotions and skincare and can be made of virgin or recycled PP.

This alternative to single use disposable systems is available in two shapes: classic and curved. Decoration possibilities are endless to suit your branding needs.

We invite you to send us your branding guidelines and we’ll provide you with realistic renderings showing what your finalised circular roll-on will look like!

UK: New Plastic Packaging Tax from April 2022

UK: New Plastic Packaging Tax from April 2022

As of 1st of April 2022, the new Plastic Packaging Tax will be introduced on the production and import of plastic packaging. The tax is currently announced at a rate of £200 per tonne for packaging predominantly composed of plastics with a recycled plastic content lower than 30%. It will apply for businesses in the UK manufacturing or importing more than 10 tonnes of plastic packaging per year.

The coming UK Plastic Packaging Tax reflects the growing global concern to find more sustainable solutions. This clear economic incentive should increase the use of recycled materials in plastic packaging. At Gaasch Packaging, we have various options to help our customers cope with this new reality and make their contribution to a circular economy.
